In accordance with the 1989年《无毒学校和社区法》, NVCC supports efforts to eliminate drug and alcohol abuse through a series of programs and services designed to prevent use of substances which are illegal and harmful and to assist individuals who suffer from substance abuse. 吸毒和酗酒会危害你的健康。 非法拥有、使用或分发受管制物质可能导致包括监禁和罚款在内的法律制裁。 Such conduct by students on campus can also result in the College taking disciplinary action as stated in the 学生手册. 如果你或你认识的人需要帮助，请联系任何校园的咨询中心，了解转介给社区机构的信息。
